SA OC, who carries one regularly?
In this case SA meaning a revolver. I've OC'd my .45 Colt (SS Ruger Blackhawk) and only had a few eyebrows raised and today I'll be getting a new Ruger SBH (.44 Mag, blued, 4 5/8 bbl) and will holster it with a Bianchi Lawman hip holster. Last time I was OCing my .45 I had to stop by TSC (Tractor Supply Center) and got into some discussions about it with one of the salesmen (how'd it shoot, how heavy was it, etc) and a bit of OC training to a man and woman (their boy, about 8, noticed it first) that owned guns but did not know that OC really was legal (gave them a pamphlet).

Same thing seems to happened when I OC one of my semis or DA revolvers - most people don't ever even notice it - or they notice it but just don't say anything. So far I've not had any major run ins with the local gendarmes.

RE: SA OC, who carries one regularly?
I OC with my SA all the time ( .45 Ruger Vaquero) in western rig holster. The most reaction I get is that everyone is so geared in mind set that cowboy guns are toy cap guns I'm always asked if it's real. Confused

I won't be wronged. I won't be insulted. I won't be laid a-hand on. I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.

I will on occasion OC my Ruger Blackhawk (.44 mag) and get the standard response. Is it loaded? or Are you lost cowboy? I just smile and go about my business.
