Question OC on a bike
Now i have a question and lets see who can answer....Is it Legal to OC on a Motorcycle, or a Petal Bike? as read from flier...
Confused
§ 6106. Firearms not to be carried without a license.
(a) Offense defined.--Any person who carries a firearm in any vehicle

That says IN ANY VEHICLE..Rulez..but a Motorcycle you can't get in you get on... and it says nothing about Petal Bikes...Any Thoughts?:

RE: OC on a bike
My thoughts:

PA Title 75: Vehicles
§ 102. Definitions.

"Motorcycle." A motor vehicle having a seat or saddle for the use of the rider and designed to travel on not more than three wheels in contact with the ground.

"Motor vehicle." A vehicle which is self-propelled except an electric personal assistive mobility device or a vehicle which is propelled solely by human power.

"Vehicle." Every device in, upon or by which any person or property is or may be transported or drawn upon a highway, except devices used exclusively upon rails or tracks. The term does not include a self-propelled wheelchair or an electrical mobility device operated by and designed for the exclusive use of a person with a mobility-related disability.

Thus a motorcycle is a vehicle and therefore OC on a motorcycle would require a LTCF.

A pedal bicycle would be a vehicle since it transports a person upon a highway. It also has a "right" to the road like a car does.

I'd say that since you are transporting a person (and property - your handgun), you would need an LTCF.

When I cycle, I carry my LTCF just in case.
