New Guns
I stopped off at Surplus City in Feasterville PA because Tanners was closed. I was looking at a "New Gun" but noticed that there was powder residue in the chamber. When I asked how come it say's new but there was powder residue in the chamber, they all chimed in that all new guns are test fired at the manufacture. All the new guns I've had came clean without residue. Some had the test fired target and in the case of Ruger, came with a spent casing. Are they full of crap?

RE: New Guns
nope, some companies just run a swab through them afterwards . . . Sigs usually are pretty bad dirty, they test them with more than one bullet for function. Ruger, might with one or two
