loaded or unloaded ?
I'm just finding out about ocing in Pa. I just assumed we're talking loaded guns. Then while watching oc videos on youtube, i noticed an LEO checking all of their firearms. In Calif. you must keep the sidearm and clips separate. But it made me wonder what the law in Pa. is ? I haven't had the chance yet, but I'm looking foreward to excersizing my right a.s.a.p. Looking for some feedback .

RE: loaded or unloaded ?
Cali is the only state that makes you open carry your gun unloaded. In PA you can OC loaded>
I won't be wronged. I won't be insulted. I won't be laid a-hand on. I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them. |

RE: loaded or unloaded ?
Pennsylvania realizes that if the gun is unloaded then you would be carrying a paperweight.

RE: loaded or unloaded ?
Since no one else said it...
It's NOT a clip. It IS a magazine.

RE: loaded or unloaded ?
I have down so far that you can have your MAGAZINE in your gun but, what about a round in the chamber?

RE: loaded or unloaded ?
Yes, you can have a loaded chamber. If you dont have a round loaded, it better be because the gun's design prohibits the safe carry of a loaded chamber - otherwise it is just an ineffective club.

RE: loaded or unloaded ?
Fully loaded is fully legal.
A handgun without a chambered round is an expensive paperweight. |

I havent been around in awhile, but i did hear on the news talk radio last night a lady call in about the officer who is faceing charges after his son accidently killed himself with his service pistol, well her comment was that the guy wasnt a cop his gun would not have had one in the chamber because normal people just dont do that.........i guess we're all not normal
