lasers or laser/light combos

Does anybody have any info on a more economical laser or laser/light combo for a handgun? I don't want a kids toy, but I don't need to take out coyotes at two hundred yards either. Just something to use down a hallway in the house. Is it the recoil that's a factor or what? Some info on the matter would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I don't own a light/laser combo, but I think the biggest factor in the price is the lumens (candle power) of the light. Another factor in price is probably the option for a strobe feature. The brighter the better for being able to light up the area. Brighter is also better for disorienting a home intruder. The strobe feature adds to that factor. If you shop around I'm sure you'll find a good light at a decent price.
