well i have found the best way to get the stainless steel look with out the cost .
[1]. soak your barrel in vinegar for 2 hours
[2]. wipe off the bluing. yes it comes right off
[3]. use the finest sand paper. i got mine from walmart # 3 sand paper its for polishing metal.
[4]. then wipe a thin layer on it and the way you go.
FYI. there are people out there that will say the barrel will rust well i have had this done for 2 weeks and no rust. the reason is i carry this weapon all the time and i keep it oiled up just a thin layer is all you need. and you will not have any rust and you will have the mirror finish you like with out the cost and you still have a genuine glock barrel
