Mark2528 I take it that your a current LEO. I'm a former LEO thats been out of the business for 15 + years now. I did'nt work in Pa. I worked in DC! I seen alot of stuff, as I'm sure you have! Guns in DC at the time were illegal no matter what, unless you were a LEO. Ammunition had to be registered to! I grew up in Pa. and with guns. I did'nt know anyone that did'nt own a gun! I want your opinion as a LEO! Do you prefer someone to OC? I did! I never questioned someone that had a pistol on his or her hip in plain view, never! I figured that if a person had it in plain view on his or her person, he or she was'nt hiding anything! Do you feel the same way? railjack

railjack,

I agree, if a person is OCing, you pretty much know where you stand with that person. I never bother people that OC, well, unless I like the piece they are carrying and want to talk about it. Other then that, I don't bother, even if I get a call. If I see the person is not doing anything but OCing, no law is being broken and I clear the call as unfounded.

Unfortunately, where I work if a call comes out regarding a man with a gun, its not a person OCing and it is dealt with entirely different.

Thanks for posting, and have a great weekend everyone.
