Just wanted to say hello from Glenside, PA., as I just joined this forum. I open carry while on my property and have open carried while with friends when we visited the Pocono Mts...but had never exercised my right while I was living in Philly, given the fact that I had a permit anyway. Now that it is going to expired in January 2009, I'm going through the process up here in Montgomery County for the first time. So, I guess I'll be talkin' with you all as I become more familiar here...take care for now !!

Well, before the "others" jump all over you for it, I'll let you down easy... There is no such thing as a CCW in Pa
In Pennsylvania you are issued a License to Carry Firearms, which covers a lot more then just Conceal Carry. It also allows you to transport your loaded firearm in a car, it allows you to Open Carry in Philadelphia, and it allows you to carry during a declared state of emergency.

You will find that it is a whole lot less painful to get a permit in Mont. Co. then in Philadelphia...
Again, welcome here!

Reputation lets other users rate you (good or bad) and warning level is for warnings received from mods/admins. Nobody puts much stock in rep around here, and unless u give the mods reason to spank you warnings won't be an issue.
