Being a Kentucky resident I wish to thank you all for having such an excellent site dedicated to open carry in PA. I wish that more Kentuckians would get involved with open carry and concealed carry legislation. The Commonwealth is an open carry state, but for a few of us, you rarely see anyone for fear of reprisal. Hopefully the residents of my state will see what you are doing and how well you help one another and will take up the fight to exercise a right that we have. Again, THANKS!!

To follow up on what PA Patriot said, all it took in PA was a small group of dedicated 2A supporters exercising their rights while standing shoulder to shoulder to start, after that more stood with them. If you haven't already, sign up at opencarry.org as well. They're a national open carry organization with a section of their forum dedicated to each state. You'll definitely get to meet some other kentuckians who OC, and maybe find a KYOC site (or a couple people interested in starting one).
Welcome,Ohio has a grassroots organization also. Ohioccw.org. Between all these fine forums and people that run them and we the posters, the information is non-stop.
A lot of the thanks go to PA PATRIOT and GNBROTZ... they have done a LOT of work on this in this area and without their diligence and willing to help others we would not be where we are.
I am sure that if you get a couple of people, even closely involved as those two, your area will begin to benefit like ours has.
